Located on the Wirral Peninsular the owners of this larger than average family home where looking to renew there outdated conservatory to the rear of the property. After vising our showroom on recommendation of a local architect, it was clear that simply replacing the tired outdated conservatory with a custom built timber/aluminium convervatory with vauled roof glass was the ideal solution. Our clients also decided to replace all of the external windows and doors to give the house a fresh new look whilst improving the energy efficiency of the home.
The colour scheme of the new windows and doors in Anthracite grey (RAL 7016) externally and white internally, with the exception of the garden room having both an internal and enternal finish of Anthracitre Grey. The Grey aluminium exterior of the windows gives a perfect contrast to the brickwork and white render achieveing a more modern look enhancing the curb appeal of the home. Some of the highlights throughout the project include a unique garden room and a stunning entrance door with feature sidelights with sand blasted privacy glass.
The windows and doors installed are all aluminium clad timber, meaning they have a protective sleek exterior with a softer more homely internal finish of timber. This is ideal for those looking for a timber window without the on-going external maintenance. The timber frame combined with the high tech glazing from Rationel gives extremely high energy efficiency values with the ability to achieve an overall U value of 0.9 with just double glazing.
