After purchasing this newly built home, the home owner, inspired by watching many episodes of Grand Designs, planned to create the ultimate modern living space. Their goal was to bring the kitchen, living and dining rooms all into a single space for all of the family to enjoy together, in a stylish and complimentary way to the existing home. They achieved this with the addition of a full width rear extension featuring matching brickwork to seamlessly blend into the original house, as well as adding in a modern anthracite grey aluminium roof fascia, a real feature to the new addition. The new extension adds a vast amount of living space to this house and is the perfect home to their designer kitchen and feature fireplace.

One of the key features of this extension is the seamless flow that has been created between the indoor and outdoor living areas. The outdoor patio has been specifically constructed to be virtually at the same level as the indoor living area, in order to create an exceptionally smooth transition between the indoor and outdoor areas. Two sets of aluminium bi-fold doors enable the home owners to completely and effortlessly open up the rear of the extension, providing an exceptional aspect over their beautiful garden and the ultimate wow factor for their large space. Alternatively, they can open up either the left or right side of the extension independently, offering maximum options for indoor/outdoor dining and entertaining.

At the same time as building their new rear extension, a new porch area was added to the home creating the perfect area for welcoming visitors and storing their boots and shoes. A wood effect composite door with side lights and detailed glazing was supplied and installed to complement their new front addition, completing the works on this home.
