After purchasing this stunning family home in a central village location in Cheshire, the homeowners have set about to completely update and modernise their home whilst maintaining many of the original features and characteristics that make this home so special.

Starting at the top of the house they have completed transformed the loft space. Looking to maximise on the stunning views and bring in maximum light, our clients had seen sliding doors with an ultra slim central mullion on popular inspiration sites such as Houzz and Instagram and knew that they really wanted this look for their home. Adding a contemporary twist to this traditional home the homeowners have gone with a black door with matching black accents throughout the room as well as the black externally cladding which really ties the room together well and alludes to the fact that this is a recent addition.

We also replaced the upstairs bathroom window with a black timber window to tie in with the black cladding on the new Dorma.

The result is a much bigger, brighter and more energy efficient space, something which will last the family for many years to come and make this home a much more enjoyable place to live. With plans to alter the downstairs space including the addition of lots more glass we look forward to working with our clients again in the future, helping to make a really special space.
