Glass link between buildings as part of a large property renovation in Cheshire

Glass Link Between Buildings Cheshire

Embarking on a comprehensive property renovation journey, our team took on the challenge of creating a harmonious connection between two distinct structures. Our solution? A structural glass corridor glass bonded to create a seamless link between the two existing building adding both architectural form and function.

With our extensive experience in glass bonded glazing systems and structural glazing we have both the team and engineers on hard to design and install bespoke glass projects like this with ease. With our in house crane our fitting team where able to install the large glass panels with ease and precision in a very efficient way. Combining modern technology both in terms of products and machinery we are now able to complete projects like this at a much more affordable price than ever before.

The new glass link serves as a passageway between the two existing building enabling the homeowners to utilise both buildings as if they are one, giving safe passage in the winter months whilst remaining within the warm envelope of the building. Not only does this serve functionality but also adds an awe inspiring design element to the project which will be admired by guests for years to come and is a great place to view the garden once complete. Once the building is occupied the glass link will look its best and will be a great place to enjoy the freshly landscaped gardens.

But our contribution didn't stop there. Throughout the interior spaces of both buildings, we curated a sophisticated scheme featuring Crittall steel doors, screens, and windows. Externally, the sleek black steel frames contrast perfectly against the traditional brickwork, while internally, they distinguish living spaces with a contemporary flair and give a nod to the traditional heritage of this building.

We also supplied and installed a large picture window consisting of an oversized glass panel within a chunky oak frame. The large Oak framed picture window offers a fantastic view of the sweeping driveway the approaches the home and once the build is complete no doubt the fantastic landscaped gardens. The Oak frame ties in perfectly with the oak ceiling beams and the large glass panel allows a great amount of light to flow internally through the various Crittall screens and living spaces.

We look forward to returning to the project once the building and landscaping is complete to photograph the project in all its glory.
