Rest On The Hill, Large Internorm Installation

John Knight Glass were chosen to supply and install all windows and doors for a new Grand Designs style development on the England and Wales border. The brief was to work closely with the Architect and Builder in order to deliver and install all windows and doors to meet the builders strict schedule and to achieve the overall U values specified by the architect.

The development was designed and built as a super eco energy efficient property, including features like air source heat pumps and rainwater harvesting. The glazing in this property was a large part of the overall Eco strategy and only the most energy efficient windows and doors could be used. Internorm windows and doors were the obvious choice to meet the desired requirements of this build.

The spectacular landscape featuring the Welsh mountains surround the property were important elements to be captured throughout the glazing scheme. The most impressive view has been framed with a large Internorm lift and slide door creating a picture perfect scene. The flush floor threshold seamlessly blends the impressive landscape with the stunning indoors for the perfect indoor outdoor flow.
