Oak Flush UPVC, Cheshire

Having originally has custom made oak timber windows installed in this stunning barn conversion around 15 years ago, the homeowners where looking for something that required a little less maintenance and also something that would have a better seal as the timber windows had warped causing gaps to form between the frames and casements.

We designed and installed a timber alternative UPVC flush casement window with an Oak grain finish, butt joins and slim mullion to closely replicate the look of traditional flush timber casement windows.

The end result is stunning, the oak grain compliments the k-render and brick finishes, the authentic flush timber looks sits perfectly with the barn building. The oak grain look is here to stay and unlike the original timber windows will not fade over time. The low maintenance UPVC windows will not warp and twist which can be an issue with timber particularly when south facing, ensuring the energy efficiency and draught proofing is maintained long term.

Internally the windows are finished in a matching oak grain foil which compliments the interior of the country cottage style barn conversion perfectly.

The end result is flawless the new windows have given the barn a fresh new look whilst staying true to the original design of the building. The new windows require no where near as much maintenance as the original oak windows and the overall energy and sound efficiency of the home has been significantly improved.
