The owners of the idyllic family home set in stunning matured gardens where completing a scheme of renovations and general updates to the home. We worked with the client to supply and install a complete glazing solution including a new orangery style extension and an update to the majority of windows and doors throughout the home.

To the side of the home which is visible on approach from the properties driveway we supplied Evolution timber alternative windows and doors which are very much in keeping with the age of the property and give the look of an authentic timber window. With white grained foil finish, slim timber style glazing bars and authentic ironmongery these windows really suit the home.

In all other areas we fitted a more modern grey aluminium window. Although not typical on this style of property the aluminium windows work extremely well with the original black timber frame that can be seen on parts of this home. The modern grey aluminium windows add a contemporary twist to this traditional home and work well both internally and out. The windows at the front of the house have been made as large as possible to make the most of the fantastic views over the Dee Estuary.

To the rear of the home a new orangery style extension has been added. We have supplied and installed a set of aluminium bifold, roof lantern and windows to complete this new space giving lots of natural light and a modern look to this area of the home.

Overall the new windows and doors have greatly improved the look and performance of this property. The new highly efficient double glazing gives enhanced sound and thermal properties making the home quitter and warmer which leads to an ultimately more comfortable home with reduced heating bills.
