Situated in a small Cheshire village, this picturesque cottage is packed full of original features including the original timber windows and doors. Our client wanted to replace the front windows of the property due to the sun damage that had occurred over the years causing rot in the original windows. The owners were looking to stay true to the original property with the use of timber windows, although at the same time allowing more light to enter the property, which has been achieved by reducing the number of glazing bars on each window.

Featuring double glazing, the perfect choice were the timber range of windows from our own Knight Collection, which offer a huge improvement in energy efficiency compared to the original single glazed windows. The Knight Collection timber range is manufactured in a state of the art manufacturing plant with a 4 stage paint process for long lasting weather performance, reducing the maintenance required by original timber windows due to the hard wearing nature of modern finishes.  Perfect for authenticity and longevity.
