Bifold doors Frodsham

Having lived in this barn conversion for many years, the homeowners wanted to add more space and bring in lighter to the kitchen area. Living in a listed building made extending the property difficult.

Having worked with the local planners, there was some existing columns holding up a covered area at the back of the building. They were given permission to enclose this with glass which was the perfect solution to achieving their desired goals.

The brick columns where refurbished and a timber roof added. We supplied a range of aluminium products to complete the build. A modern aluminium entrance door with side lights add a real wow factor to the rear entrance, a large picture window really frame the garden well and two sets of bifold doors bring in lots of light and enable the space to be opened up to outside ideal for BBQ’s and garden parties.

The roof has been used as a balcony with glass balustrade surround and access from the above bedroom.

The new extension has completely transformed the kitchen bringing in lots of lights and opening the space up with room for a seating area as well as improving the connection with the garden throughout summer and winter.
