After going through a series of upgrades to their family home, the homeowners decided of this Victorian property decided to replace their standard UPVC windows, Looking for something that was true to the original design of the home and also sympathetic to the style of the building they decided on a truly authentic sliding sash window in Timber.

We replaced the majority of the windows throughout the home with brand new timber box sash windows, at the rear of the property we supplied the windows painted in a Ral 7016 finish to match in with the bi-folding doors. To the front and side of the property all windows where supplied in white which we suspect would have been the original colour of the windows when the house was built.

Internally our team finished the two bay windows off with new timber trim which enhanced the look of the windows and once painted ensures the windows blend in with the with the space looking like they have always been there.

The use of timber gives an extremely thin mid rail and ultra-smooth movement within the window. It has also enabled us to create a beautiful beaded lip around the sash as well as a bean on the sashes themselves which not only looks beautiful but also gives a very authentic finish. Simple chrome hardware and A rated double glazing complete this installation. Adding original features back into your home like this creates an abundance of character particularly on a feature as big as windows.
